The curriculum begins with a short reading based on Toy Story, a Disney Pixar© film. Students are prompted throughout the reading to check for reading comprehension. The curriculum then works to build their understanding of story elements; including settings, characters, and plotlines. Students will work together to create a Toy Story sequel and make their own movie in which they are the actors and actresses!
